Solid copper bullets penetrate, expand and maintain their integrity far better than conventional lead-core bullets which tend to fragment in the classic “core-jacket separation.” Super Vel's .223 Rem. 62 gr. Solid Copper Hollow Point (SCHP) achieves maximum stopping power because of the solid copper bullet integrity. The 62 gr. SCHP bullet deploys six sharp cutting petals as they expand after hitting soft tissue. Even when fired through various “barrier” materials such as sheetrock, plywood or windshield glass, our solid copper is “barrier blind” and delivers both accuracy and terminal performance even after passing through an obstacle. The bullet has a small hollow point and a boattail, both of which aid accuracy; target bullets often are “BTHP,” boat tail hollow point. Solid copper rifle bullets have been proven many times over in hunting big game. Our 62 gr. six-petal SCHP is an outstanding bullet for the .223 Remington.

Delivery Date and Manually Reviewed Orders
- We offer the estimated delivery date at checkout for UPS and Fedex shipping. This is an estimate based on the current warehouse workflow and the shipping carrier's transit time.
